What happens whey you try a wired connection? If your online wireless, you should be online wired. If not, maybe something is wrong with the gateway or PC.

With a wired connection, you don't need to put in a network name or password. It should be plug in play. The problem with wired may not be causing your problem with wireless, but without being able to try a wired connection, its difficult to isolate what the problem is. Do you have another PC you can try with wired and run a speed test? If not then we would have to troubleshoot the PC which can get technical.

I would say thats pretty close to perfection for Premier. Could be your area is a little bit congested or your signal levels aren't right on the money. If your looking for faster wireless speeds, you might be better off swapping for a modem and getting your own stand alone router.
