Anyone else having serious speed issues in FHR since AUG1? I appreciate there is construction, but I don't appreciate that that is affecting my service. Any notifications on when they will be back to normal? less than 1mb down/4 up is painful.

Forum isn't really big enough to give that localized of a sample. Were you told the construction was causing the problem directly, or is that what you suspect?
Also what speed tier/plan do you have? Another words, what "should" you be getting?
Last can you post the signal levels from the modem. Usually you can find them on 192.168.100.1 webpage.

Yes, if you're still having he issues, I'd probably start by checking all the connections (unscrew them then put them back on) where you can for your cable, reboot your entire system including modem, and if the problem persists give Cox a call they usually will help if they can. If you're running a separate router in the mix, temporarily plug the modem directly into your computer and see what you're getting.

There have not been any ongoing issues lasting that long in the area reported. We can certainly take a closer look at it though and see if it is a signal related issue or problems with the modem there. If you email us at cox.help@cox.com with the street address or mac address on the modem we can investigate it further.
