In Phoenix - East Valley - CableCard with HDHomerun Prime and Tuning Adapter - Limited Channels

Today I delved in to the home media platform.

I was very successful in getting the cablecard registered. I did a channel scan and got limited channels. I did some research and with the SDV being used I decided to connect up the tuning adapter and called COX to register it, which was successful.

But I am still getting limited channels.

The CC and TA info is below. One puzzling thing is when I look at the Tuner Status during channel lookup in the Prime webpage, I can see it resolve channels (in the list below look for: Tuner 0 Status) but they never appear in the channel lineup when it's finished.

I unplugged the tuning adapter and disconnected the USB cable, then plugged the TA back in and waited until the boot process was done and the green light was steady, then plugged back in the USB and started a channel search again. Another puzzling thing is in the Client area, is shows SDV Channels: 337. I am guessing this is the number of channels the TA can see.

Thanks, and look forward to any help.

So, I found a command to show all the channels in the HD Prime via the webpage and it appears to see all the channels, but the channels not showing in the normal lineup have strikethroughs, eg:

1033   ESPNHD

1034   FSNHD

Just thought I would add this little snippet.

Hi BrewskyAZ,

To what channel packages do you subscribe?

I was able to have COX re-pair my cablecard and then I was able to see all the channels.

Thank you for the responses!
