I am trying to Use TV Connect for PC - it doesn't seem to work
I can launch TV Connect successfully on my computer but it only seems to give a few channels like CSPAN. And it only has a record button if I click the actual channel name in the left pane it tells me live tv is unavailable if I am not on my home network. I am on my home network ..

Do you have both Cox internet and Cox cable? What is your IP address? You can google it or check at whatismyip.com
Also, what cable package? You will only be able to watch online the channels you normally get on the TV and usually alot less. This is the closest I could find to a break down. Found this support article, but link for Cox TV connect is broken.

I do have both internet and TV. I think it must be the TV package I have - I have TV Starter but it includes HBO and some advanced TV channels from what they told me. I am not 1000% sure as I am yet to buy a TV yet.
Anyhow thanks for that link - I think where it says it requires at least TV essential is where I am lacking.

Wow, I just noticed the link I gave was like..15pages. That has to be the longest support article I have ever seen on Cox!
If a moderator has a break down of what Advanced TV (online) channels come with which package, that would be great. I think I remember someone posting it here before and if I remember it isn't completely intuitive. Glad I could help.

Any chance you can find the article that this link "was" connected to? Its found in this article, look for "To see the channel offering for your area, see Cox TV Connect Channel Lineup." Or does that just lead to "Cox TV Online Content and Access Paths" article? Powered by google....hehe. Not quite

Good idea. I had a thread going to track them, but your idea is more direct. Thanks!
