How to log into ESPN3?
My Cox UserID and Password get me my Cox website account, but I can't get them to work to watch ESPN3. I have the Sports Package. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Theres your problem. What ever username your using is tied to account that does not have cable service on it. Or at least the computer system doesn't recognize it has cable service on it. You should see a account number on that screen too. Make sure that matches your bill. If it does, and your bill has sport package on it, then thats something Cox has to fix. If it doesn't match, perhaps your using a username tied to a old account?

How is it not working? Is it saying incorrect password? Not redirect? And you mean your trying to log into WatchESPN right? See here for their FAQ.

Thank you for your response. I tried the FAQ, but didn't learn anything new. The message I get after I've logged in with my Cox UserID and Password is: "Unable to Play Video. You are not authorized to play this content. Please contact your provider." I get that message no matter what content I'm trying to watch. Thanks.

That rules out a username/password issue.
Do have the cable package with ESPN on the same account as your internet? No room mate account, or residential/business kind of thing? If you go here, sign in with the same username/password, does it show that cable package?
Also, can you supply the link to the video? Or is it all videos?

You're a frickin' genius, Health Edge!!! That was it. I was erroneously using a UserID from an account I had in my previous residence. When I changed residences (just down the street), a new account was created. Now I've registered my new account with a new UserID and Password and I'm in business. ESPN, etc. comes in just fine. Thank you so much for hangin' in there with me on this. You've really made my week, man! Thanks, again.
