How do I disable the new email app?

I absolutely hate that it took over my email!!!

I want to change it back to way it was yesterday.

I have Windows 10 and the app is not listed in my folder, so I can't delete it from there.

Where can I find this horrible thing and get rid of it???

Which new app are you talking about exactly and which app were you using previously?

The new email app **. I can't see full emails on my tablet, just a long skinny version on the right hand side of the screen. As far as I can see, there is no way to convert back to the old email version. Also can't see the app in the apps list, therefore no way to disable it. Probably Cuz Cox knows that it **, but can't resolve this.

The double emails for me happened only once and that was when my email account went live on the new email app. It resent ALL the email I had saved online in my account. Had to go through & manually delete all the duplicates... This was an omen as to the fact this app wasn't ready for prime time.... There are other items that aren't right that I have posted about. Wish we could go back to the old email app even if the interface was old and clunky- it was more reliable and actually had more features!

Yeah, I didn't ask for, download or request to change my email to this appsuite. It automatically appeared on my tablet. I have looked everywhere on my tablet to uninstall, delete, etc to get rid of it!! Can't find any place to do that on my tablet.

This new version does not let me see the whole screen view. The search bar does not hide when scrolling up.

Now that this automatically switched on my tablet, I can not in any way log in to my email account on my desktop computer!!!

Do not like this app in any way or fashion.

COX PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS INCONVENIENCE. I would prefer and like to view my emails on my desktop.

Mrs. White,

If you are using the browser on your tablet to view your Cox email, there should be a "View" button on the top right of the page where you can choose the layout of your inbox. I found changing this setting to "List" will provide you the list of emails without the preview, similar to the previous version of webmail.

What happens when you sign in to https://myemail.cox.net on your desktop?

Our main email went live last night while I was blissfully sipping wine. Nasty. I too got RANDOM double emails including SOME of what was on the server. Now everything is out of date order.

Wose problem here....I now cannot get into my webmail from my iPad mini. I had a frustrating, extended conversation with tech support last night and they didn't have a clue.

let's see, folks with their expensive iPhones can't check email on them?  Can't believe I can't find a thread on this specific problem.

can't believe they leave their poor tech people with NO information to pass on or even a head's up....there's a problem.  We're working on it.

someone is supposed to call me.  Yea, that'll be the day.

And they call themselves a "communications" company!

I don't care about your suggestions for my tablet. I am concerned about accessing my email using my desktop computer.

Exactly, what I said previously. "I can not in any way log in to my email account on my desktop computer!!! "

I just get the little circles in the center of my screen, like it's thinking or downloading. That's it.

And yes, I have tried resetting my password. That seems to be the only suggestion COX provided when they sent out the email saying they were changing to the new email format. Even then, it states that that MAY solve the problem.

@Mrs. White

If you have Kaspersky Internet Security/Anti-virus installed on your desktop it may interfere with the new email site. Disabling it or whitelisting our site http://myemail.cox.net should correct this.
