Horse Racing

Hi Horse Racing,

I enjoy live horse races, too! Unfortunately, horse racing seems to be under-represented on TV. NBC Sports Network airs a couple of the big events throughout the year, and local racing events (for communities with a local track) are usually aired on a local network channel or regional sports channel.

I don't know a great deal about dog racing, and I don't think I've ever seen a dog race aired on TV. You might be able to find a website that offers online streaming.

Are we forgetting the TVG Network or its sister station TVG2 (formerly HRTV)?? More horse racing than you can shake a stick at.

In San Diego North, TVGN & TVG2 are on 328/329 (Sports & Info Pak.) Last I looked, no HD coverage.
