HDhomerun Prime not picking up all channels
Hi,
I live in the Wichita market and for about a week I've been trying to get my HDhomerun Prime (HDHR3-CC) to pick up all of the channels that i am subscribed to. Just had a cox tech come out and advised me that everything is set up correctly on their end. Nice guy but he ended up leaving which was no biggie. Scanned channels after he left and then I still was not able to get all of the channels that I subscribe to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That is the HD HomeRunPRIME firmware,
You need to go into the Tuning Adapter Diagnostics and find the Tuning Adapter Firmware. It will be "platform version 1.37", or 1.40. if it is NOT 1.40, that is your issue, You will need Cox to push a TA firmware udate to the TA.

I believe that I am on 1.40 here is what i found
MTR-700 CODE MODULES
PLATFORM VERSION: 01.40
PLATFORM BUILT: Sep 10 2014 15:22:26
OBJECT VERSION STATUS ID
Basically when ESPN shows up just says no signal. When i think about it the only channels that I am getting are my local channels.

Sorry, also so right now the connection goes, Coax from the wall to 2-way splitter one goes to cable modem, the other to Cox TA from TA coax to HDHomerun Prime. Also from TA the USB connection from TA to HDHR. Then ethernet from HDHR to Rounter

Here's a link for the connections. Once the cables are changed, I suggest power cycling your equipment. Let me know if it helps.

So, I would then need to get a 3-way splitter to connect it using the instructions provided because i have my cable modem on that outlet as well

Gave that a try and it still yields the same results with just the over the air channels being received.
