HBO Series On Demand just changed
I switched to Contour 2 while back and really like the layout. I was surprised to see that almost all the Old HBO series were available over the summer. So I ended up re watching The Sopranos and decided to watch The Wire which I had missed. I watched all but the last 4 episodes and suddenly they vanished. Now only like the first episode shows up. Now only the new shows show up. Luckily I could get what I needed through HBO Go on my smart TV. I have to stream HBO Go, so Cable just lost some value. I wish you could access HBO Go through Contour. Does anyone know if this was just a special thing HBO On Demand was doing over the summer making all their old Series available?

If it's any consolation, all five seasons of The Wire (as well as a number of other HBO titles) have been available on Amazon for some time. Being an Amazon Prime subscriber will allow viewing these anytime you like, without the need to buy or rent.
Be aware though the difference between viewing Cox' on demand vs. streaming: Amazon, Hulu, Netflix etc. will require data usage; Cox' will not.

Nonsense. OP is not referring to "network" programming. HBO keeps their full, complete repository of every show they've ever produced On Demand 24/7/365. I see 70 episodes of The Wire available for viewing right now. But then again, my Passport DVR works like it should 24/7/365.
It's yet another Contour bug feature. Form (the layout) over function (missing shows).
