GET TV
What has happened to GET TV. All that is on this weekend is an advertisement for a new channel, GRIT TV. Does this mean GRIT is replacing GET?
I prefer to have GET back. Will it be available on another channel number?

This has nothing to do with Cox.
It appears that the TV station WFDC-DT3 - OTA 14.3 and Cox 817 is changing from GetTV to GritTV which launches on August 18th 2014.

It appears this change is for Phoenix AZ also, and many other Univision owned TV Stations.

Get TV is owned by Sony Pictures, and is distributed as a sub-channel of an OTA channel, and often picked up by local cable systems. Grit TV is a half-hour TV show appearing on DISH, some PBS stations, and online.
Get TV's schedule is at http://get.tv/schedule. To find out what OTA station transmits Get TV go to: http://get.tv/get-the-channel

Yes. I know how to get to the GET TV website and schedule. What I am saying is that for COX Cable in FFX, VA, GET TV is not broadcasting this weekend. It is advertising a new TV network (not a half hour PBS show) called GRIT TV.
My question remains. Does this mean that COX will no longer be carrying GET TV?

Bryan is correct. This change is being made by the programmer, not by Cox. I'm not sure what the future is for GET TV. I'm sorry!

My question remains: Is GET TV going to be carried by a new OTA station, or is it going "POOF" in your area? That is a better question for the fine folks at GET TV.
