I have a receiver in my living room and want to add to my bedrrom. There is no hookup in there. Do I need to get another receiver amd have someone come out and run wires in the walls, or do I just get a splitter and run it to the TV straight from living room? Also, if so, what is the price range to have all that done?

Do you want all the same channels in the bedroom as the living room? If so, then yes, you will need another receiver. You could add a splitter and run a cable from living room to bedroom, but that will be messy IMO and may not work as well. It would be cheaper though. My guess would be less then 100$ for the install, and I think it's 7-10$ for the receiver, depending on what type it is. You would want to call Cox though and confirm pricing. This forum is only for discussing the technical side of things.
