Explain what is going on with your network, Cox.

While I don't expect any service provider to be able to keep every single service area 100% up 100% of the time, a quick look at this page will show you that Cox's network must have been build my a middle school PC repair club, because customers across the country are routinely experiencing major outages. I stand before you myself in the middle of one of these outages, posting from my cell phone's tether, thank God for their reliable network.
Vail AZ, Cox. Do you have any actual engineers employed? Why have Cox DNS servers been unavailable? Why is my modem trained up, yet the network is down? Why has it been several hours? Why is this the fourth outage in as many days? Why did maintenance take 12 hours last weekend instead of the 6 that you promised? Why is your network down more than its up? When is this going to be fixed permanently? When are you going to start putting your customers' first?
Who can I speak to about getting credit on my account? Who should I tell that I will not be paying this month's bill and have my balance zeroed out?
I don't use Facebook, or Twitter, or any of that social media nonsense. Your online chat support us perpetually and forever "unavailable" and your phone support wants to run through "the idiot customer's troubleshooting checklist" every time I call despite the fact that I have worked as an engineer in broadband for two decades. Please reply HERE. Unless you don't want to address your shortcomings, or post canned responses, in such a public forum.
Who is steering the ship? Because right now you are adrift at sea.

Do you only want a Cox employee to respond? Cox engineers don't monitor these forums. This is a user forum, designed for users to discuss technical problems in order to assist each other. The moderators here do only what their name suggests...moderate. In my opinion, they are not here to directly support.
As for the problem, can you give some actual technical data? How does Cox DNS get backed up? Do you actually mean a modem? Or do you mean router or gateway? What kind of modem/router/gateway do you have? What is "trained up"?
