Why did you lock a thread discussing different modems and routers and then give a copy/paste reason? What non-technical thing wasn't being discussed? Seems like Mods are locking more threads then they are actually helping with.

Maybe she only read the first sentence in the OP then decided to close it... since Sleeps did say: "I am going to cancel my TV and phone service because it's going to be way to expensive next month when my 2 year cobtract ends."
But yeah, there was NO reason to close that thread.

No real reason to be sure. Nothing outside of the forum guidelines I can see. But reading the thread objectively, looking for anything that might precipitate an interloping mod with a quick, thread-locking trigger finger, I'm pretty sure the excuse would be:
