E-mail server slow

Cox.east email server is excruciatingly slow. Are there any plans to improve the server infrastructure in the near  future. I don't think I can put up with the response time for too much longer, however, I really don't want to have to change my primary email address. Please tell me there are plans in palce to remedy this condition.
