email sending
Why is it when I am not at my home computer that I cannot send email from my email program and I have to use Cox webmail for that work. I can receive email just fine, but sending it from a hotel or other home network will not work.

Its probably your outgoing email settings. When your off Cox network, you have to attach your password and use security in order to send through Cox's email server. You would want to change your outgoing server (SMTP.cox.net) to use standard password authentication and SSL on port 465. I can give more specific instructions but would need to know what kind of email program you use.

What do you mean it would not go through? As in emails won't send? Or the settings won't Save?
Can you include a screenshot of the settings? Should look like this.

To upload a photo, I just use http://imgur.com/ since the upload process on the forums is still kind of buggy. Just click "Upload image" on the top.
If those settings are not working, you could also try these settings. If those still not work, then it's likely that your work blocks those ports on their network. You could create a VPN(Virtual Private Network) to your home network, but if they block mail ports, chances are they will block a VPN too. Maybe talk to your IT about it? Feel free to send them a link to this thread.
