For a couple months now I lose my connections several times per day. To get it back I reboot the wireless router. Tech came out and said all is ok, Chat tech said to reboot the modem weekly instead. Finally got them to send me a new modem and plan to put it in tomorrow. It is a Cisco DPQ 3212. If this does not fix the issue I will but a new wireless router. What routers would be best for this modem? I do have a slight preference for Linksys and want to keep the price to $75-$150, Thanks

No router is more or less compatible with a modem. As long as they have a WAN port and can handle DHCP, it should work. I happen to be partial to Asus routers, but if your looking for Linksys in that price range, check out the EA6350. AC1200 with External antennas for 99$. Take note that it doesn't have a Gigabit WAN port though, this would only be a issue if you had Premier or above tier internet.
