dpc 3010 firmware

I have a dpc 3010 modem, I just went through the issue of the amber lights on ds/us/online/link

The problem was solved by rebooting the modem, with the router disconnected.

Am wondering if I need to update the firmware. I know there is a cox rep on here that can do it.

I am not sure what firmware my modem is on, but would appreciate if the firmware could be updated to latest stable or if I can be told how to do it myself

Amber light on the link usually indicates a non-gigabit device is connected which can't be fixed via a firmware update.  You can visit http://192.168.100.1 and it should show the modem status and I believe the firmware version as well.

I have been running this modem for well over a year or so, the problem only appeared yesterday. The internet connection was lost, only the power button was green, one by one the buttons for ds/us/online turned green and once they were all green, they flashed amber, went out and then started turning green again, one by one, only to flash amber once more, (rinse and repeat)

There is nothing new attached to the modem.

Here is the info queried from the router:

That appears to be the most current firmware for that modem.  One thing I do see however is it's not bonding the upstream channels currently and reporting an elevated transmit on the primary channel.  Are there any splitters you can try bypassing to see if the signal improves any?

sorry it took so long for me to post updates, had work, looked today and found no splitters between the line out box to the modem. Unsure if there is a splitter in the box attached to the house.any other suggestions?

No problem, we understand work! Have you checked for any loose connections from wall to modem? Check the power cord too.
