Docsis 3.0 upgrade from 2.0

Hello, I upgraded my modem to a Cisco DPC 3010 and am getting 60mb down and 30 up and am on the Premier service level. When I called to activate the modem I was told that the switch was made to recognize the faster service but was told I should be getting 100mb down and 11mb up with my service. I just want to make sure my service is configured correctly. Can someone from COX check it out for me?

Hi pvcdroid,

I see the correct codes on the account. Please bypass your router, power cycle your modem, and test again.

Thank you! What a difference bypassing the router makes. 120mb down/13 up without the router. About the same as before with the router ~ 55down/13up. Oh well. I'm wondering if this is normal or if my router should be upgraded. I appreciate your assistance.
