Destiny Issues Xbox 360
We are going crazy! We just got Cox Communications in OKC and now Destiny for the Xbox 360 shuts down all the time. we are lucky to play one or two games before it throws the code catepillar or disconnects us from Xbox Live. We had AT&T DSL and never once had a problem. I have also switched from the UBEE router to a netgear because I read that sometimes it is a router issue. I need a fix soon! Any help is appreciated.

What Netgear gateway do you have? Do you have anything connected to it?
How are you connecting the Xbox 360? Wireless adapter or wired?
When the Xbox connection quits, do other computers lose the internet?

Modem is CG3000DV2 nothing else is connected to it. Using wireless for the Xbox connection. We dont lose connection on anything else when it quits and the problem is isolated primarily to Destiny. We have actually tried turning off other devices that are connected while we play and it doesn't make a different.

Gaming using a internal wireless adapter from a Xbox to a gateway is just about worst case scenario. With that said, when it cuts out, do you get a error if you do a Xbox test? How do you have the gateway configured?

For the past few months I've had the same issues with Destiny servers on the Xbox one, getting error codes vulture, bee, sheep. I don't even know what else to name.
I have the premium package, have the Xbox directly wired connected to the linksys ea6400 router that's hooked up to the Motorola surfboard modem sb6141.
The connection issues would be off and on sometimes I would green bar and the other times I would red bar and have destiny server connection issues. But watching HBO Go or Netflix everything is fine.
I ve tried hooking the Xbox up directly to the cable modem and still have the same issues and even tried going wireless on the Xbox and still have the same issues.
makes me feel dumb for paying $80 a month for the premium package and can't even play for two minutes without getting kicked
I also have gone to settings on the Xbox and done network and multiplayer test and it says everything is fine0

If you're not experiencing problems with any other online services it's possible the Internet connection is fine and that the gaming service is experiencing some issues. It may be worth reaching out to their support and see if they have any suggestions.
