See here. Be sure to set your location on the top right corner of the page. The receivers listed are specific for your area.

Thanks for that quick reply. I may have asked th wrong question. What I'm really wondering is what is currently being deployed, not so much what has been deployed and is in th field.
Here is my situation, I have one HD DVR (DCT6412 III), one HD Receiver (DCH3200) and 3 mini boxes. For the past few months the DVR has been acting up, often going to a "green screen" and then rebooting, as well as frequent pixilation watching and recording a number of channels. I called Cox service on this when it originally started, they did a few things remotely and thought that would resolve it, but it never did. Th other sets in th house do not exhibit this behavior.
i was hoping to just be able to walk in to a COX store and exchange th DVR unit, but at the same time I'd love to increase the hard driv size since I do occasionally have problems fitting all desired recordings. So I was trying to get a handle on what th current unit would be, and if they are self installable, etc. I don't want to move to Contour, I already have trouble justifying th monthly bill, but resolving the picture problem and reboots would help.

You just have to take the chance they have the newer boxes.

Cox doesn't track what inventory they have at Cox stores. They also don't usually accept calls from customers either. So the only way to find out is to go there and ask.
This is usually caused by a HDMI issue, where it fails the HDCP handshake. Have you tried replacing the HDMI already? Or maybe just swapping if you are using HDMI to connect something else to the TV too.
The DVR (non Contour) with the largest HD in RI is the Motorola DCX3400 with 500GB. Getting one will be some what difficult though.

2-tuner Contour DVRs cost exactly the same as 2-tuner non-Contour DVRs. {$8.50 rental + 11.99 DVR service.}

Don't you have to pay extra for the Contour channel package? I will take Motorola hardware over the Cisco junk any day. Also, Motorola gives eSATA support and a better UI IMO. With that said, I haven't had cable for a couple years, so perhaps my opinions are dated.

Not in a long time. They're included with the 8642HDC or 8742HDC 2-channel Contour DVRs (if you subscribe to the SD channels.) They're not available at all with Motorola/Rovi equipment, IIRC.
