Cox Cable Box 8888

Hello, my cox cable box turns on and off and goes 8888 and when it does work i can't access on demand or the guide, this has been going on for about a week or two and has been getting worse

What is the model number of your "cable box" ?? Have you attempted to re-boot the box? Does this "8888" appear on the front panel LED panel?

I have rebooted it several times, and yes the 8888 is on the front pane, and i have a DCX3200 HD Phase 2

I'd say at this point if you've tried the basic troubleshooting steps it's either time for a technician to come out or swapping the box.
