Contour

Is it not possible to extend a recording in progress with Contour? This was available on my previous DVR and I just upgraded to your new Contour service and the feature seems to be missing. Is this a bug or did you consciously remove it from your service offering?

To extend a recording in progress, simply record the time slot immediately following the one in progress. Either record the whole next block, or do a manual recording for a portion of the block.

That was not the Question.  Recording the next time slot may be a work around.  But the OP asked If it was possible to extend a recording in progress.  Is that basic function not available with Contour?

Obviously not or I wouldn't have given him the workaround. Cox says it might be in a future update, but I wouldn't hold my breath. This question gets asked once every 4-5 months.
