Contour Cable Box
When my cable box/TV has been on for awhile without my having input anything, a notice will appear on screen asking me if I am still watching TV. If I don't respond, the unit will shut the equipment off.
My question is: Is there a way I can turn this this particular feature off?
I use this equipment in an office lobby and it's a pain to have to keep turning the equipment back on all the time.

I think if you hit the Guide button, then scroll down to Settings and then to Timers, you should be able to switch that off.
The same thing happened to me when I first got mine, as I would leave the TV on for the dogs when I was at work and when I came home, I noticed it had shut off.

More likely, it is the "AUTO POWER OFF" function.
Go to "SETTINGS" -> "RECEIVERS" -> "POWER MANAGEMENT" and select "POWER OFF MANUALLY" instead of "AUTO POWER OFF."
