Contour 2 Favorite Channels
Favorites guide view selected. Select any favorite channel using the number sequence on the remote, returns this alert: Switch Guide View. (channel name) is not included in your favorite channels. To view listings on this network , switch your guide view to all channels.
In other words the guide favorite view doesn't remember which channels are among the favorites list.
If Ion the other hand, viewing a channel then selecting a different channel using the remote keypad, the channel switches correctly.

Same here. When viewing the guide (favorites), I used to be able to input channel number and jump to that channel in the guide. Now I get the same message OP quoted.

Same thing here. Started a few days ago. Removing it from favorites and re adding doesn't fix either

Noticed it about a week and 1/2 ago in the about section it shows release version xappl-XRE67P6. XRE Server Version 1.67.06 09/30/2016 17:21
inhave been looking online and see that Comcast is having same issue. Stating that the last update had a bug. When will an updated software update be coming out? How can I force an update?

The problem remains. If your inside the guide, punching a channel number that is in the favorites list, declares that it's not and asks you to go to the all channels view to arrive at the one selected.

We believe the "Switch Guide View" error was fixed by a code update released last night. Please test this and let us know if you continue to get the error!
