Can't get mail

Internet is working fine (I got here).  My other email accounts under Thunderbird get mail fine.  Cox I get this error dialog.

"Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.cox.net responded: please send PASS command"

Followed by a dialog that says:

"Login to server pop.cox.net failed."

With three buttons; Retry, Enter New Password, Cancel.

Retry and Enter New Password fail.

Note: My password works, because I logged into the Cox support site with my account and password.  :)

So is pop.cox.net fubar?

Edit -

I tried SENDING a message from my Cox mail to one of my other email accounts, and that succeeded, so smtp.cox.net is working.

Guess they fixed it, because now I am getting mail from pop.cox.net.  :)
