Cannot perform internet speed test

Whenever I try the internet speed test, I receive an error message: "Latency Test Error". I have 2 computers. My MacMini is hard wired and my Windows laptop is wireless. Why isn't this working? All the speed tests online work fine.

Yes, that's the speed test I use. It's just not working. I keep getting that latency message. I have no problem using other speed tests such as speedtest.net. On 8/7 Cox came and replaced a modem and I'm wondering if this could cause this.

I have never run into the error personally on the speed test but essentially its saying its timing out reaching it. Does that error come up immediately within seconds or does it take a minute or more to give the error message?
