Cannot access Cox Webmail most of the time for the past 10 days or so in the New Orleans area
When I try to access my webmail sometimes I can but most of the time it comes up as "This page cannot be displayed".
This has been going on constantly for the past 10 days or so.
When will this be fixed?

I can report the same problem. Logging into Webmail has been very slow to resolve at my location for longer than 10 days now. My browser reports "waiting for cox webmail". All other aspects of my Internet connection are functioning normally. I can resolve, and connect to other webpages, including other Cox web pages fast, but Webmail takes an extremely long time, and often will just not connect. This morning, I trying a work around, and used "idm.west.cox.net" and I was able to log in immediately. Normally, because of my location I would use "idm.east.cox.net". I have tried to connect to Webmail via the Cox.net portal, but even that proved extremely slow, if not impossible. So, it seems I can not connect to Webmail, even when I am on a Cox server.
So, at least 2 customers, from 2 different geographical locations are having long term trouble with Webmail, is anyone one else having problems with Webmail too? Specially, just can not get to the Webmail log in page?

As I have said in other threads, same exact issue here. I have tried everything suggested to me by Cox but no dice. The problem is NOT on our end. Everything was fine a couple of weeks ago before this randomly started happening.

It has been excruciatingly slow from time to time over the past few days. The expected response to this discussion is likely aimed at keeping us busy clearing caches and other things that do not address the issue. Lot's of "waiting for mail.east.cox.com" while the login page hangs.

You may want to try clearing cookies, cache and history before attempting to access Cox Webmail again. Please give that a go and let us know how that works.

Yes yes... let's busy ourselves up on the premise that this is a user's issue... and these multiple discussions about the web mail stalling and hanging over the past few days are purely coincidence.

Every single thread this is always the response we get.
Clear cache, cookies, and history. We have.
Try a different browser. We have.
Try going to webmail.cox.com directly. We have.
Try using another computer if we can. We have.
Every. Single. Time. we get the same run around but this has been going on for nearly two weeks now for many people. Something is going wrong on Cox's end.
Actually, one of the support folks here told me there was maintenance in my area that effected ONLY the webmail.cox.com server and supposedly that maintenance ended on March 3rd. Either it didn't work or we were just being told that as a run around.

Hi Everyone,
I'm sorry for the latency you're experiencing when trying to access your WebMail. The best way to access WebMail is from webmail.cox.net; however, you can also access it from myaccount.cox.net or any other Cox.com landing page (examples: www.cox.com/internettools, www.cox.com/resaccount/home.cox). Also, make sure you are using a compatible internet browser:
Browser
Version
Google Chrome
51 or higher
Internet Explorer
10 or higher
Microsoft Edge
13 or higher
Mozilla Firefox
47 or higher
Safari
8 or higher
For more email resources, reference the Cox Email Support Center.
