Without knowing the numbers, our first guess would be a problem with his line, not yours. If your friend is also on Cox, we can check his line directly, otherwise we'd need to place one or more test calls. Whether or not he uses our service, we'll need to know his phone number and we'll also need your line information, and none of this information can be communicated publicly, so if you email us at cox.help@cox.com we can continue to troubleshoot. Since this is a line-specific issue, we'll be locking this thread now.
