CableCARD Channel Listing Incorrect
How come some of the HD channels are showing the listing an hour ahead of time (1046 - Food Network; 1023 - Discovery)? I've had to set my DVR up to record the show that is an hour later than what I really want to record. It's been a few weeks now. How much longer is it going to take to get this fixed? I've used the online chat help, and they know about the issue but do not have an estimated time to fix this issue.

Cox Could you please contact Rovi and Microsoft that the following channels in Phoenix, AZ should be the Pacific (West) Coast Feed for the Windows Media Center CableCARD Guide listings.
This is not really a Cox issue, this is a Guide provider issue, and the appropriate Guide provider needs to be notified. However, Cox could send the appropriate Guide provider an update notice.
More specifics from you would be helpful.
Windows Media Center recently changed to Rovi as the guide info provider, (it was Tribune previously)
https://www.silicondust.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=21239
TiVo still uses Tribune for their Guide Info and is correct.
Both 1046 - Food Network; 1023 - Discovery have the correct time of the listings on my TiVos in Phoenix, which are the Pacific Feed.
Windows Media Center uses Rovi and is incorrect.
Both 1046 - Food Network; 1023 - Discovery have incorrectly listed them as the East Coast Feed, on my WMC, in Phoenix, they both should be the Pacific Feed. Tribune was easy to contact, I do not have any contact info for Rovi.
Others are saying you need to contact Microsoft:
If you are affected by this change please open a case with Microsoft to report the inaccurate EPG channel lineup for your cable provider.

Thanks for letting us know about this issue! I've forwarded your posts to our Phoenix video team and asked that we notify the appropriate Guide providers. I don't have any idea what type of ETR to expect, but I'll let you know if I receive any updates.

We received an update from our video programming team:
"In July Microsoft switched from Zap2It for IPG to ROVI and we think that the issues the customer is having is a result of this"
The suggested course of action is to open up a ticket with Microsoft so they can look at this issue on their end.

I hope this information is helpful.

TDsweetE is your Cable Card still working? When they switched to all digital in my area (8/4/15) I have lost all functionality of my cable card. It was working just fine and I am only trying to access channels 2-20. I have a tuning adapter set up that is currently a solid yellow light, but I still get nothing except the "preview" channels like 1, 100, 200, 1200 and such.

I have a tuning adapter and all my channels will tune in. The problem with the incorrect feed still exists. No resolution in over a two months when you know the issue and solution is seems quite ridiculous! Has Cox even contacted Microsoft about the issue? How much longer is it going to take to get this resolved?

No response from Microsoft, and the Guide listings are still the East Coast feed.
The correct link is https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/Feedback/Details/1624475

Hi Everyone,
I did some digging this morning and found three posts from a Microsoft Program manager. I'll summarize the key points from the post on August 28, 2015, but please use the following link to read the full thread:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-winapps/windows-media-center-epg-data-issues-update-727/aeddcf0f-7e9a-4c45-a014-ed1d4adc8aec.
The official path of support for WMC issues is to log a feedback report within the Microsoft Connect site (https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/Feedback). It is very important that everyone report Guide issues via the Microsoft Connect site.
Very Important Note: you will need to login to the Connect site and link your MS account with to it for the link above to work properly. You can also go to http://connect.microsoft.com, sign in there, and navigate to the "Media Center Program Guide Data Feedback Home" site. The https://connect.microsoft.com/site1145/Feedback page will not work if you are not properly logged in.
Per the Microsoft Program manager, these are the recommended steps for fixing Guide issues:
This is a simple step and seems to be effective in some cases. To do this, open an elevated Command Prompt and enter ipconfig /flushdns. This removes old DNS entries from the cache and forces the machine to reacquire the proper IP’s for our download URL’s.
This has been effective for some users, and also returns usable results. You can see if your ZIP code, city, or other nearby areas, are available at http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/tv-listings - enter your ZIP code or city name to see the providers for that area.
This step is a little more involved, and should be undertaken by advanced users only. This can clear older EPG data from your WMC installation, allowing a restarted WMC to pick up the new data feed. Effectiveness is unknown, which is why it’s only partially recommended – it won’t damage your install, but requires some experience to make it work.
For this method, follow these steps:
I'm not sure these steps will fix the problem with the Guide being an hour off schedule in Arizona.
