CableCard and Media Center

We have a computer hooked up to our TV that runs Media Center. We got the message that we have to either use the mini boxes so we looked into the Cable Card. We removed the two TV tuners that are in the computer, got the Cable Card and a Ceton 510001DCT04IN InfiniTV 4 TV Tuner. We are now trying to get it to work. Has anyone had any luck with a similar setup? The people at the solutions store were not helpful. I just kept getting "you don't have TiVo service" from them when I went to get the Cable Card.

Hi gorbash,

I'm not seeing the activation work order as complete. Do you have the tuning adapter and cable card already and is it installed? I can complete it for you if needed.

We do have both the card and the adapter and hooked them both up last night. It just errors out before it gets to the activation window. What is needed on your end?

The video team has identified an issue with the Tuning Adapter that we're not able to resolve remotely. I'd like to have a technician come out to swap the Tuning Adapter and activate the CableCARD for you. The other option would be to swap the Tuning Adapter at a Cox Solutions Store.
