Additional TV Cable Installation Cost
Hi,
I had Cox cable come and do an installation when I first moved into my apartment, but only had 1 TV at the time. I want to connect an additional TV - will I have to pay another installation fee?

I wouldn't think Cox would come to your home, install a splitter, run cables (if required) and connect a cable box for free.
If you already have a cable outlet at the additional TV location, you could do it. The outlet may already be connected to the main feed. If not, you'll need to find its end behind the cover plate at the main feed and connect it to the splitter...assuming you already have a splitter for your Internet and cable TV service. You'll just need to get a second cable box from a Cox Service Center.

If you have an existing cable outlet in the room with the additional TV, you can connect your TV and cable box and see if the outlet provides a network signal. (The outlet should have been activated during install.) If you need a new coax outlet installed, there will be a service charge. This charge may vary by market, but is usually around $75.
