HD glitches

I am becoming highly frustrated. I am recording directly from the HD channels and it does not matter what HD channels I choose to record on,  it automatically records the SD channel. Why is that? We are forced due to the monopoly of Cox, to only have Cox as an option and due to that, they charge a fortune but can't seem to get anything to work correctly at all, EVER.

  • When you setup a recording, there should be a Resolution setting on the Setup screen.  If this is a recurring recording (series), what's recorded is already recorded; however, you can edit the Resolution setting on its schedule.

    If you're not seeing the Resolution setting, run the Quick Setup wizard to establish the audio and video capabilities of your TV.
