So everything in my home ( cell phones, laptop etc) gets awesome speeds, except for my 2 xbox 1s' . Anyone else having this issue?
Most of the main servers for gaming consoles are in CA or WA. You will more than likely notice a lack of performance. I can test my speeds to a location near the Cox server and get advertised speed but on the game console it is only half upload. Also they might be using QOS due to the amount of people using the service. I'm sure they wouldn't ever tell the consumer if so.
I have always had all speeds paid for until October 2018. Then it changed. What’s sad is no one seems to want to fix this issue.
How many issues do you need Cox before you will help all of your Xbox owning customers fix this?! Can you guys not hook up an Xbox on you’re network at your store and see this issue? It doesn’t matter how old or new the console is. This issue will be on ALL xbox consoles with cox. Please fix this. Like I and everyone else has stated, it started around the third week in October of 2018. Get a ticket opened for a tier 3, look at the network updates done in October, find the issue, fix the issue. Please?!
As previously stated on this forum, The speed to everything is fine excluding Xbox. I can go test my consoles on another isp and get all the speed I’m suppose to get though
