I have the same issue as well. Mine however also comes with a insane slowdown of my internet. I will range from 320 Mbps during the day to 6 Mbps in the evening. Would love to hear some sort of reply
It sounds like this maybe a separate issue then the op had with the tool showing server interrupted. I have moved this to it's own thread. I am showing poor signal to the modem. Please check the connections to ensure that the cables are secured and undamaged, and bypass any splitters.

All connections have been checked. I have already replaced the modem with a newer better SB6190 and recently replaced the router as well. Yesterday at this time I was receiving 300 Mbps, today i am literally at 2 Mbps download. I am surprised I have the bandwidth to post this message.
at least my upload speed is a rock solid 27Mbps. Wondering if being assigned a different IP on the cox end would do anything or if the issue lies between the house and the street.
Yeah I will call in today and see if I can get a service scheduled. Browsing through the forums it appears as if a new piece of hardware installed by Cox may be the culprit as I have seen many Southern Californian people having issues. On top of this, our Contour seems to be freezing up at least once per day.
As an update the last several weeks I have seen an average of 10Mbps download even though we are paying for 300...
I have the service interrupted and gigablast. I am getting download speeds of 56 MBPS and upload speeds of about 17 MBPS . This needs to be fixed,
Hopefully since the issue may be in the wall or outside. Seems there is a service outage in my area at the moment so hopefully that clears up before the technician shows up in the morning.
I would kill for 56 down at this point
