WiFi security
I have a WiFi password set up yet anyone who comes over can connect without it. How can I stop this from happening?

Did you set up the Wi-Fi password, or just the password to access the modem/router admin site? Sometimes that can be confusing.
Try changing the password
Are you talking about your home Wi-Fi or the Cox hotspot named "Cox Wifi"?
What model Wireless Router are you using?
