Problems with Cox email and -- SPAM -- prepended to subject

All the mail comiong from one domain (our congregation) gets --SPAM-- prepended to the subject line, and when we try to reply, the email will not send with an error of:

Message could not be sent to the following recipients: [Heather Rosenthal <hrosenthal@shmtemple.org>] (550 - 550 <frombking@cox.net> message rejected. Refer to Error Codes section at www.cox.com/.../email-error-codes.html for more information. AUP#CXSNDR
)"

This is extremely annoying. We need to start a totally new email to reply to them. How do we resolve this problem?

If that is an actual email address, you should edit your post to mask it to avoid publishing someone's email address in a public Forum.

First time OP may not have found his way back here.

  • @Teddybbear. Are you trying to respond to multiple recipients of the email that is in question? Are you having this issue with any other email address or domain? Lastly, are you using a third party email viewer such as Outlook? -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.
