Installing a new modem.

I want to install a new nmodem, as my current modem is acting up. Are there detailed i structions avilable for this? Thank you.

    What's the make and model of your modem?

    For lack of another phrase, it's practically "plug-and-play."  You connect and it auto-authenticates, registers and negotiates with Cox.  If the DOCSIS is also a telephone modem, there may be a few other steps.
