I bought a Netgear C7000v2 modem in hopes of increasing my connection speed. Trying to activate it, I get the message that it's not a supported modem. But the model number is on the approved list!
After hooking it up, the connection was dialup-level slow. It was a pain to even get to the activation screen.
Is the modem defective somehow?
