Everything is golden on the downstream, I get no packet loss at all and SNR is good along with all power levels. The problem is the upstream which appears to be an issue with the cox network. I'm done. No assistance needed. Re: Critical Signal Errors SB6141 Modem i get this error too. getting lots of timeouts from the IP the modem is sitting on. this all started when they changed the bandwidth tiers Re: High Ping & Packet Loss - Confirmed Cox is Throttling A tech came out two weeks ago and we removed the old cable and splitters. There are no splitters at all. I'm running straight to the cox box. The tech did put a pad on the end of the cable, though, because he said it was too hot. There is a coupler connecting the house line to the cox cable box, too. Re: High Ping & Packet Loss - Confirmed Cox is Throttling new modem and router hasn't improved anything for me... still getting consistent packet loss : ( Re: High Ping & Packet Loss - Confirmed Cox is Throttling I replaced my modem and router this morning with the all in one Netgear AC1900. Can you tell me if it looks any better on your end? Thanks. Re: High Ping & Packet Loss - Confirmed Cox is Throttling Same with me. Ping was low and packet loss was zero before Cox switched me to 150. Now I get higher ping and constant packet loss. Jitter with the first few hops on Cox's network is terrible. I wish I had another choice in ISP around here that offered the same speed/price. You get what you pay for, I guess.
