But when ever I chat online with Cox it talk over the phone they tell me we never had something like this so that shows you how untrained these people are they do not know there own stuf and I point them to where it’s posted but they still don’t know and argue with you . I just have to go to there store waste my time to show them that o am on this plan where Cox reps are telling me that I have to add a $49.99 per month to have it . I just can’t beleave people can be so stupid as when I signed I agreed to switch to it just because of that and the reason I am coming up with this that someone in my area was using my WI-FI where last month I was high up to %85!where I never exceed %75 but then starting my new cycle I was in two days on 239GB of usage where I did not open my internet So I changed my password and now I am ok . Beware Cox doesn’t care about you getting hacked they tell you we do not support WI -FI and they will not remove it . So if it gets to a point that they are getting on my nerves I will disconnect my service go to Centry Link with slower speeds but get them off my back and my price will be $25- a max of $45.00 per month for life price never changes .I am trying to resolve this issue if not resolved after me being a customer for 5 years I will say bye bye I am a disabled had many issues with my health and do not need more from Cox and there very untrained employees hooe someone fromCox will read this and contact me to resolve this issue . I never go over my DATA not even close to the 1025gb every month but it is just I need to get what I was promised fate is fare . Re: Introducing Cox Gigablast Ok guys Cox just approved the Netgear C6300 tomorrow I amhoing to buy it it will be my tenth one that did not work good but now it should since they support it .my first box was the fastest I ever had and now I am using a Motorola Arris surfboard for $229.99 but the Wi-Fi really ** so the seller from Amazon is taking it back I bought it on Jan the 14th and tell you what this guy is from Rono Sierra Consinment one of the most recommended and lowest prices in AMAZON fast shipping a real very honest person to deal with. he doesn't carry Netgear but Motorola and other items. But glad to buy this Netgear C6300 best Wi-Fi you will experience and fast like lightening . So I highly recommend this box stay away of the Motorola Surfboard as there customer service is rude very unhelpful . Re: netgear c6300 cable modem Well i have bought the same box I am in Las Vegas NV and have replaced 6 C6300 boxes because of Cox they know nothing,I had a supervisor and said that the box is in his list they made it work for 6 weeks great then speed was dropping and had to replace it as they said . But nothing is wrong with the boxes and Netgear said the box should work and the problem is dealing with untrained people. This box should work 10000000000% if the right person comes online like i had once one guy that made it in two minutes to run,but so many Cox sub contractors comes to my house and each one screws it more ,for a whole month dealing with it and spending hours on the phone as i am now over an hour and a half with Cox. not sure what to do wished At&t or any other company was here i would have Cox go a long time ago so many problems every day,there people are untrained they know the basics only and the sub contractors are worst less . so hope to hear from someone that is working this box, Around me 6 families are using same box and they working it fine. PS how come some of Cox support and a supervisor told me get this box it should work and moderators here saying no and kind of threatening people you will be suspended what the *** is going on , why not talking to people as humans just like animals if not us Cox is out of business yes we get the service but they make the money and i can get ethernet from one of the companies up to 20Mbps Century Link thats all i need for $19.99 So please be polite to people in this forums .Just to let you know that with this router i get many times speed up to 195Mbps and upload around 30Mbps.......and the Sub Contractors got surprised my man problem looks like a Box i think called PATH needs to be replaced and all will work fine .Thank you and Happy New year to all of you
