DI and Eastern here, moving to Henderson next week and hoping this problem goes away but they're internationally throttling upload speeds in Las Vegas and I have no idea why and they're not giving any answers. Submit an FCC complaint here, they won't do anything until you submit a complaint, if you call they'll just try to get you to pay their nonsense blue glove services to send a tech out there that'll blame your equipment and not rectify the problem. here is the link to submit the complaint: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=38824 Night 9 of daily intentional internet throttling I actually got about an hour of decent upload speeds (8mb-11mb) tonight after watching the election and then BOOM.......this NIGHTLY internet throttling bull**** starts up again killing all enjoyment to my night. COX what is going on, I will continue to send nightly FCC complaints until you guys fix this garbage. I'm encouraging everyone that has had this same nonsense to submit an FCC complaint, here is the link: https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=38824 SEND IN YOUR COMPLAINTS ^ - COX will not do a *** thing until enough people complain and the FCC gets on their case. Internet upload speed again garbage in Las Vegas/Paradise Not like this will fix anything but I had a glimmer of hope this morning. After many FCC complaints, calls, online message with tech support I left for work this morning and saw an ARMY (4 trucks) of COX vehicles down the street from me. I thought, "oh shoot......did they actually listen and send an army ofmonkeys (techs) to fix this internet upload issue?"..... Log in tonight....nope.....upload speed at a glorious max 1 MBPS and enough packet loss to make a ten cent prostitute look conservative... Fix your infrastructure COX.......it is honestly garbage. Re: C7000v2 Firmware Version Needs Update - Packet Loss / Upload Speed inadequate - Las Vegas DMA Midnight, PST, upload speed decides to take a complete ** below 1mbps. This is straight throttling byCOX. Re: C7000v2 Firmware Version Needs Update - Packet Loss / Upload Speed inadequate - Las Vegas DMA Packet loss and upload issues continue. Like clockwork at 11pm PST I get the following results consistentlyhttps://www.speedtest.net/result/10284950136 This is unacceptable. Running tests now (4:17 PST) I am getting 5-8p Mbps upload speed which is fair but far from the 30upload speed I pay for every month. Packet loss test of 212 bytes at 15 pings/second is giving me 10.3% failure rate which it totally unacceptable. Do you know how embarrassing this is going over 1Q21 projections in a zoom meeting and having my face fuzz out and voice sound like a distorted autotune version of Tpain? Unacceptable. Re: C7000v2 Firmware Version Needs Update - Packet Loss / Upload Speed inadequate - Las Vegas DMA Thank you, email sent. C7000v2 Firmware Version Needs Update - Packet Loss / Upload Speed inadequate - Las Vegas DMA I noticed the Firmware for this modem is not up to date with COX. Netgear's website shows the approved firmware for COX should be V1.02.12 - can someone look into this? I'm unsure if firmware is the reason for my low upload speed since lately I been getting is 1-3 mbps (i pay for 30mbps upload). Can someone help me with this? Download is great but the upload speed is very unsatisfactory and needs to be fixed.
