So if Cox is being transparent about it, then Cox needs to credit/compensate their customers like a partial refund. However, Cox is not doing this. They are instead, still taking customers' money at a premium price that is advertised while providing poor internet speed. You see what I'm saying? That is poor customer service and is outright stealing. If I pay for the gigablast internet plan, and you provide me with the essential internet speed, then why am I paying for the gigablast price? This is the reality, and Cox needs to own it up and partially refund their customers' money automatically to those who are affected. You can find out if you are affected by seeing a "temporary outage" message in your Cox account. As of right now, if you don't complain they won't credit you. So all those customers out there who aren't aware of the situation and aren't complaining are getting their money robbed. Packet loss with WinMTR I’ve been having this issue of latency spiking to 100 or above intermittently for months (before the coronavirus crisis), doesn’t matter what time of day I play. I even upgraded my internet speed to 1000 mbps,from 150 mbps, and it’s still happening. I only have 9 wifi devices, and 2 ethernet (pc gaming and tv). The wifi devices are just 2 cell phones, alexa, nanoleaf panel, 4 lifx bulbs, canon printer. Most of the time, the nanoleaf, 4 lifx bubls, and printer aren’t even on or in use. I play online games (overwatch) on lowest settings too. My old modem and router was Netgear C7000. Ireplaced it withNetgear Nighthawk CM1100, and router Netgear Nighthawk AX4 AX3000 Wifi 6. Those who do not complain or seek out the problem with them are just getting their money eaten up by these vultures. I am getting 10 Mbps most of the time when I pay for 150Mbps.
