Oh,and I scrolled. But chatting with a robot, before a human who re-asks some of the same questions is also not the best, in my opinion, as I have done that before. Recall that I clicked on a link, got a 403 error, clicked on a link to "help solve the problem", then got a 404 error. Thanks for your suggestions. Re: Customer service feedback LOL Yes, that page reminded me of this forum. So nothing on the site itself, other than the forum. Those are not "great ways" to get in touch. Here is some feedback I would give them: I suggest putting "great ways to get in touch" on the TOP of the "contact us" page, not the bottom, or middle. Re: Customer service feedback LOL Thanks, Bruce. But already been down that road. There is no opportunity for feedback there. If it were, you would listed it. At the top right-center of the home page is a "Contact Us." Billing Pay your bill Set up automatic payments My Account Forgot your User ID? Forgot your password? Services Move your service Manage your service appointment Support Reset cable TV box Reset Internet modem etc Customer service feedback LOL I would LOOOOOOVE to give Cox -- or any cable company -- my (negative) feedback. But the ability to do that is not readily available. Hmmmmmm. I received an email, that said, in part, "Find all ways to pay your bill at www.cox.com/residential/support/ways-to-pay-your-bill." with a link. Clicked the link.....and..... ERROR 403 Hmm...we can't find that page OK. It asksprovide some feedback to help us fix the issue. https://www.cox.com/residential/flex-2/flex/pages/test/404.html#foreseesurvey WRONG again. ERROR 404 Hmm...we can't find that page Looks like we had a few wrong turns. Let's get you back on track. But first, provide some feedback to help us fix the issue. This is the circular Catch 22 ** from cable companies that drives me crazy. Not sure who is worse, Cox or Comcast. Re: How do I change my IP address Thanks, Chris. Confirms what I suspected. Re: How do I change my IP address Thanks for the reply, Kevin. Yes, I understood that I have a dynamic IP "in theory." My IP hasn't changed since we got back Jan 3, at least. And no, no issues. Long story short: I want to change my IP. How do I change my IP address I have the Panoramic modem/router. Cox told me to unplug it for 5-6 hours to get a new IP. Tried that a few times. Doesn't help. I think it worked when we were away for a month, but nothing short of that. I like to do this now and then. Was simple with previous internet service modem. Any suggestions?
