I tried to access the channels and the On Demand for Epix and none of the programs or movies are showing free to watch. I contacted tech support, thinking maybe my DVR didn't do its update and that is why I couldn't access it. The technician sent a signal to the box and had me unplug it to reboot it (all things I could have done myself). The only other suggestion he gave was to send someone out and possibly end up switching out my Contour box. I told him I did not want to do that and lose all my recordings just for a free preview. I don't understand why they put on there it is a free preview weekend if it actually isn't one. Has anyone been able to access the free preview? Re: Wont record That isn't a possibility when it will not let you set anything to record in any method. You try to set something and it immediately shows it cancelled out. Re: Wont record I'm having the same issue. Two days ago, I noticed my DVR wouldn't allow me to set anything to record. Today, it showed all of my set to record shows marked as cancelled and it won't allow me to record anything. I have a service ticket in with a 48 hour wait since two different Cox representatives had no idea what the issue is or how to fix it. Clearly it is something on their end and not the equipment since others are experiencing the same kind of thing. It would be nice to speak to someone that knows what is happening and how to fix it. I contacted a Cox representative that told me they had no idea what the issue was. He sent a signal to the box which seemed to correct the issue. I turned it on today to discover that all of my set recordings were now set to cancelled and it would not allow me to set anything to record. I again called Cox and a different representative had no idea what the issue was or how to fix it. He first told me it could be a transmitter issue and then told me it could be an issue with the update. I now have a ticket in to wait for a 48 hour service reply. I have my doubts this is has anything to do with the DVR itself but with something on their end.
