Clearly if you look around the forum that isn't the case. I have been more than patient with cox and my internet issues. I feel like I have met every technician they have, and all have been professional and was nice to meet them. Nonetheless, issue has never been resolved. Most people on here lash out because they have given cox their opportunity to fix the problem. I wont come here and bad mouth cox, even though I want to, but clearly they have not provided the service I was told I would be getting. I find this guys statement somewhat accurate, and if it makes him feel better to share his opinion great. Would love to see your opinion if the shoe was on the other foot. This issue has occurred for a year and a half since upgrading to gigablast with panoramic wifi. Cox tech guys have replaced all wires and splitters. I exchanged modem about 2 months ago. Cox truck checked wires throughout entire neighborhood last 2 days. All with no results in fixing issues. All the tech guys I have interacted with have been professional and feel like they tried to fix problem. I have no idea what the problem is, and almost feel like its unfixable at this point. Hate feeling like the guy who just complains, but the constant disruptions with anything we do using internet is beyond annoying. Looking for advice or do I just move on to different service. Re: Internet connection issues I called cox support and was told they saw the high number of resets that the modem was doing on it's own. They did a complete reset of modem and walked me through some changes to make on my end. Was told for next 24 hrs I might see the same issue but should not be as bad and should end after 24 hrs. Since call it has still disconnected a couple of times, but not as often as before. Does this sound right to you? Thank you for your feedback. Re: Internet connection issues I have a splitter at main line that comes to home. From there I have a line that goes directly to modem. I relocated modem to central part of home and closer to main line, which made no difference. I have checked all the lines myself as well as cox tech guys checking all the lines and advising that they saw no issues with cable lines. One even ran new cable lines to modem and main television. Have tried many things to remedy problem, resetting modem, complete reinstall. Upsetting having tech guys come out and see no issues, would love to show what happens but can never predict when it happens, it's very frustrating. I have the gigablast plan with panoramic DTC4141 modem Internet connection issues Why does my internet connection intermittently shut off, both wireless and hardwired. All devices and several times throughout day. Disconnection lasts for 5 seconds to 5 minutes. I have had tech guys come to house and find nothing wrong with wiring, and usually change one adapter and thinks it will change. One tech guy said I was only house that came off their box on the street and probably reason I am not a priority. They sent a truck out one time to look at box on street and it came and left never making contact with me and no changes since it came. Any advice?
