I have tried all the remedies that Cox has suggested and nothing has helped. Is there any way to actually get the service I am paying for? Audio drops off sometimes 4 or 5 times an hour, usually for 2 or 3 seconds at a time. Just like hitting mute, video doesn't stop, just audio stops for a few seconds. Cox has messed up their reprogramming. Re: Series Recording Not Available Same issue and Cox came out and replaced the dvr knowing full well that it was an issue of their error. Had the DVR replaced this morning, problem remains on top of the fact that we have lost all of the movies we had wanted to see. Re: Audio skips on dvr recordings We had ours replaced and are still having issues. DVR erratic Lately our Cox DVR has not been working as usual. First, we kept getting the message that "recording failed because the show was not found in the guide" which was incorrect because we were watching the show at the time. We had the DVR replaced and haven't had that problem yet, but now when we try to record a series, we do not get the option to do so. Re: Voice mail i had this issue as well, and just set up my home answering machine to answer in less rings than the Cox voice mail. Make sure your home unit is set up to receive calls.
