The onscreen battery strength indicator now shows 100%. Odd, but the batteries that did not seem to work were Energizer and the ones that did work are Duracell. Maybe the remote prefers Duracell. No, I doubt that has anything to do with it but it was strange. Problem solved. Cox Remote Battery Life I replaced the batteries in my Cox Cable remote but the onscreen battery life indicator still shows a low percentage of 31%. About one hour after I discovered this was happening again, however, all of my series recording re-appeared as if nothing had gone wrong. Very odd that this has now happened twice within a few weeks. Over the past few weeks, our DVR box will randomly drop scheduled recordings and I have to manually reschedule them. Also, several recordings start and then the box only records about 2 to 3 minutes before stopping. Additionally, the response time between the remote and the box is very unpredictable. SAP is reversed on NBC station The SAP option is somehow reversed for my local NBC station. The announcer audio for the NFL game is in Spanish. Checked SAP option on the Contour box and it shows English. Switched to Spanish to see what happened and audio went to English…but that caused other channels to go to Spanish or to have no audio at all. The problem is affecting all of my TVs but only on our NBC station and only for the game itself (not for commercials). Any ideas what, if anything, we can do?
