I have created filters which work briefly, then the spammer sends the email again having changed the subject, sender e-mail, etc. Ordinarily, I get very little spam and it seldom gets to the Inbox. This spammer is much more persistent. I really don't understand why the spammer keeps sending so many copies of the same email phishing schemes. If I'm not falling for the scam, why keep trying? Multiple spam phishing email For almost two weeks I have been inundated by spam phishing email telling me my mcaffee account has expired, my norton has expired, my prime account as expired, etc. They all look similar. What is frustrating is that I get the same messages numerous times. The "from" gets changed probably to get around spam filters but the same messages keep coming. Sometimes 10 or more a day. Is there anything Cox can do to stop these emails? Does Cox plan to terminate e-mail service? Since Cox is no longer providing new e-mail addresses to either new or existing customers, does this mean at some point in time that Cox will eliminate all e-mail service? Solvedimage quality with new contour box I just swapped out my old (11 years) cable box and the image quality on the new one is not nearly as good. The main issue is overall sharpness. I have fiddled extensively with the image controls both on contour and on my tv and cannot match the old sharpness level. Is there something about these new boxes that has changed the quality of the incoming signal from Cox in any way? This is not a subjective issue such as perhaps the color settings are. The background images are definitely not as sharp as before and the main foreground images also seem somewhat softer at times. Deactivation of old cable box Just received new contour box. How long do I have to activate the new one before my old cable box is deactivated by Cox? 48 hours? 10 days?
