I am going to try factory resetting the Pano modem I have and try to get Cox on the phone to figure out if they are for some reason blocking the port. Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Great! I will try it when I am at home! Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Thank you. Yes, from you example, I would be using YouTube.com instead of the IP address. They did not provide the IP address, and I'm assuming it's because they haven't had a problem with it in the past. My boss has Cox as well and it worked for him when he did it. Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue I'm using what looks like a website and then the port number. I'm copying what the 3rd party company gave me originally and how they told me to do it. Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Nope, no other VPN. Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Agreed. The support case that we started with the 3rd party company has yet to be answered with any other suggestions as to what to do, but, in theory, I should have been able to access it someway somehow at this point. Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Yes, it works and has worked from my office in the past Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue Yes Re: Work From Home/Port Forwarding Issue My laptop is Windows 10 and I don't believe, besides the default Cox settings, I have no 3rd party firewalls installed. Yeah, I'd like to learn something. It was just something he suggested to make sure that it was a problem with my network rather than just if I left my office network.
