I am at 8 weeks now and not once have I received any info (email, tele, text) from cox on a schedule, work order etc. I also have had multiple chats and calls to support---none of which have given me any results. There is "no work order" info on my cox web page. Twice I have been told my work order was "completed". One of those however then said---it was a 2 part work order etc---why not put that as info on my home page and give me an estimated date? Anyway, I am at the point where I have already looked into satellite service and am close to dropping all cox service this week!!! Not one single email, text, or phone call from Cox as to schedule for this. On my account page it has NO work order number, etc. Multiple chats and several calls by me--results in talking heads or being put off. Twice I was told "they" would call me to schedule, etc! Nothing!! Twice I was told--after they looked up some other existing work order number--that---My job has been completed!!! Once corrected yo "Oh well thats a two part job!!! They will contact U by Fri!! Is this for real!!!! I am now at the point where I am talking with the satellite boys etc.. Maybe Cox will respond when I drop off the damned equipment at the store!!!!! cox mail inbox empty! I am receiving normal email at 3 addresses on my pc or phone. When I sign in to cox email there is nothing in my inbox!? I also just had the following occur: I opened my email on the pc (Thunderbird) and the inbox appeared with the messages that were still there---then automatically the whole inbox cleared--all dissapeared! The messages are in the "deleted" folder. As a side note--I just had two accounts hacked (Steam and Ubisoft) and possibly they messed with my email account?? Cox chat rep said I just need to change my server settings and my cox mail would reappear! Those setting were already changed when we did your recent security update thing. So --how do I get to see email in cox web inbox? Thanx, Bob "Tuner Adapter" required? For a cablecard hd receiver, why might you also need a tuner adapter? what additional function does it do? I want to use a Samsung gx-sm530cf to replace my hd receiver. This in turn will directly connect to a HD tv with hdmi cable. Also, does Cox charge additional for the tuner?? Also. is there any hidden "activation fees" for cablecard or tuner (self instal kit)? Thanx Re: Mini Box Scam?! Chris---My current wall connected set receieves HD broadcast from local channels (1003 to 1010) in my area. I have one set with HD receiver and "Advanced tv" service. With the mini box now on the other wall sets---will I no longer get HD broadcast of local channels?
